How a walk-on roof light is fitted

Form a level, square structural opening with a suitable upstand. The glass is made to suit your border, so confirm sizes before ordering.

Frameless or framed
A frameless unit sits cleanly over the prepared opening; a framed unit uses a familiar upstand frame detail. The glass build is identical — only the fixing differs.

Bed and seal
Bed the unit onto the upstand on the correct setting blocks and sealant for a weather-tight, fully-supported fit.

Final check
Confirm the unit is fully and evenly supported on all edges, level, and the perimeter seal is continuous, then clean down.
