How to fit your glass Juliet balcony
Fitting is straightforward for a competent DIYer or tradesperson. The glass arrives pre-drilled, so it's a case of marking, fixing and mounting — here's the full process.

Offer up & mark
Hold the glass (or a template) against the wall and mark through the pre-drilled holes, which sit 50mm in from each edge.

Drill & plug
Drill the marked points and insert wall plugs or resin anchors suited to your substrate — brick, masonry or structural timber.
- 3
Fit the standoff bases
Bolt the stainless standoff bases securely to the wall and check they sit flush and level.
- 4
Mount the glass
Lift the pane onto the standoffs (two people for larger panels), seat the spacers and hand-tighten the caps.
- 5
Level & finish
Check the pane is level with an even gap, fully tighten the caps, then clean the glass down.
Safety first
A Juliet balcony is a guarding component. Make sure your fixings and substrate are rated for the load and that the installation meets current building regulations — the top of the glass is typically 1100mm above floor level. If in doubt, use a qualified installer.
